I am a reporter for physicsworld.com and the newest member of the Physics World team. I graduated with an MSci in physics from the University of Bristol and then, being slightly too attached to the city, continued on there to do my PhD in materials science. While I particularly enjoy reading and writing about applied physics, I have a soft spot for particle physics and cosmology. Outside of science, I’m often found drawing, reading fantasy books, having a session on Pinterest and watching cooking competitions on TV (even though I’m personally rubbish at cooking).
